America: From Freedom to Fascism

I strongly urge you all to watch the film America: From Freedom To Fascism.

The premise of the film is director Aaron Russo (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0751567/ produced the movie Trading Places (Eddie Murphy) among others) set out to see if the We The People Foundation were a bunch of kooks and nuts for challenging the IRS. What he found was alot more than he probably bargained for when he set out on the project.

The first half of the film is comprised of interviews with the We The People people, IRS agents, the former IRS commissioner, government employees, senators, congressmen, former jurrors, people who've had their lives ruined by the IRS. Questions are asked about the tax code, tax "law", Supreme Court decisions are reviewed, court cases are sumarised, as well as the history of income tax and the creation of the Federal Reserve Bank.

The second half of the film covers the USA PATRIOT ACT, various executive orders, the REAL ID card and RFID technology, among other topics.

This film is not wildly sensational. People sometimes label films like this, and Alex Jones', to be conspiracy theories - sometimes without even viewing the evidence. What is conspiratorial about pointing out what is on paper as official policy, or talked about by politicians and corporations? What is conspiratorial about the government not giving a straight answer to a simple question, and not even showing where in the books a certain law is located (watch the film to find out)?
